The Next Arctic blast

What can we expect here in SE Texas next weekend with the arctic front coming down? I've read the temps here will be equal to the 1983/1989 cold outbreak, and I've read the possibility of snow. Has anyone heard this?

Where did u hear this at BWW? I haven't heard anything - but then I have been working from 7 a.m. in the morning to 8 p.m. or later. Haven't been on any of the boards.

Finally stayed up and watched the news tonight - Frank B said we could have Siberian cold down in this part of texas by next weekend. Another week of warm temps - then we will see just hope cold it does get with this systme.
