Started off with children's Christmas mass and then our traditional Christmas eve dinner at my sister's house.

I know I had a great day with family and friends. With the snow that fell Christmas eve here at my house and then going to my parents and celebrating with all my siblings and their families. Then we went over to my brother-in-law's and had Christmas over there - we finally got home at 6 p.m. - not wanting to do much at all except be lazy _ lol_ I was so sleepy from only getting 3 hours of asleep from the prior night.

But all good things come to an end - Donny and Chasity are both sick in bed and running fevers. I hope its not the flu. Not going to make it to church this morning. Its cold - 27 degrees here.

Well that's the update from my house for today. BTW I got the DVD "Day after Tomorrow", a new indoor/outdoor therometer and a christmas shirt. This is what Chasity got me.

Everyone post about your Christmas and gifts here.....

We had a pretty good Christmas here at my house. Christmas eve was a day of cooking and baking. This was the first year in a long time that we had no relatives at our house. I was real busy, So Gregg took the kids to Church for me as I was behind on the Christmas dinner. The Tradition is Brittany's friends coming over to our house for Christmas Eve dinner. This is our big dinner with beef tenderloin and and all the trimings, but the menu was not as big as usual, with everyone on diets (yes next year I will not plan a cruise in Jan.). Then reading 3 different story's, and bed time for Callie after that, as we wait for Santa to come with all his goody's.
Christmas morning we watch Callie as she was excited about all the gifts Santa had left. Breakfast is always Kings French Toast, with Bacon. yummmm, wish I could have had some. Then we open up presents. I bought most of my gifts for the kids to give me but they were small, a sinus soother, wuvit that is a back heating pad, innocent perfume, martini glasses (yes I needed that) and 100.00 gift cert. for a spa. So not bad for not wanting anything. The hit with the kids was the dance mat, that Callie recieved from Santa.
Christmas day is always a lazy day where everybody does as they please, and yes I did just that.
Hope everybody had a great day and all there wishes came true.

Dang, I'm so late on this thread, for that matter any thread. Still trying to get caught up. I got 3 new pair of pj's, new socks, a best buy card, ANOTHER D & B purse (thanks mom) and my three favorite gifts:

An HP Photosmart 2610-prints/scan/copies/faxes-still tryinig to figure out how to use everything
A nice check for a new digital camera and camcorder-have no idea what to get, more research than I have brain cells for
and...........drum roll please for the weather geek toy I got:

NEW - VORTEX STORM CHASER™
Mount the Vortex Storm Chaser™ firmly on your vehicle, run the wire into someplace safe, dry, and warm, stick the display where you can easily see it - and you can get a wind measurement without getting wet or pelted by hail!
Both kits install in seconds - plus you can take them with you and measure wind speed wherever you go!
May 2004: The Mag Mount has been user-tested to over 115 mph on an air-strip in the Midwest...
The Storm Chaser is fully portable, comes with 25 feet of wire and a male/female jack connection, so you can leave the wind speed sensor installed and remove the display when not in use.
Run the wire through the door (just close it on the wire - no problem), through a window or moon roof...
MAGNETIC MOUNT
The magnetic mounting kit consists of 2 heavy-duty magnets on an aluminum bracket. Total rated pull strength of the magnets is over 110 lbs. Tested in winds to over 115 mph!

Christmas was wonderful with the snow, my daughter home, everyone healthy for a change. Usual fare, Spaghetti on Christmas Eve night, church services, party at neighbors house, SNOWBALL fight, up again early Christmas morning, like Ticka, getting virtually no sleep. Opened presents, smoked my Turkey, stuffed my face and fell asleep on the floor. Best Christmas ever. Period.

I found it back about 3 months ago and told Ken I wanted it for Christmas. The website is http://www.inspeed.com/Storm%20Chaser.htm.

I haven't tried it out yet, guess we need to get through with snow season first!!!!
