Radar indicating snow bands developing across SE TX.

Polk County public and sheriff is reporting light snow across the County. Also see some bright banding on the radar across Wharton and Fort Bend counties.

Light snow will spread across much of the area today as a strong upper level disturbance moves across.

No accumulation is expected.

family in Mont Belvieu just called and there is light snow at their house. I went outside, and there were a few sleet pellets here! It's coming!!!

Numerous reports of light snow falling over SE TX

Snow falling in Sugarland and Baytown right now. Also had reports in Rosenberg and Sealy within the last hours.

Snow is light and most is melting once it hits the ground.

Radar is in clear air mode and is showing meso-scale snow bads developing across SE TX in a region of enhanced lifting. Snow showers will continue through the evening evening hours with some accumulation on grassy surfaces.

Bridges and overpasses will become icy as snow melts and then re-freezes on the surface.
