Soundings are indicating much faster and deeper moisture return than forecasted. Radars are starting to show echoes over S TX.
Very active sub-tropical jet is aimed right at our region with cloud bases lowering quickly this evening. 6000ft dry layer has been cut in half by increase in mid level moisture. 600pm guidance is showing a little bit stronger upper low which may be able to squeeze some of the mid level moisture out. Low level remain dry, although not as dry as expected.
Temps. are already just above freezing at most locations and should easily make to mid 20's tonight.
Snow chances may be a tad higher on Friday, but still no accumulation is expected.
