It seems very few have been posting lately. The tropics can't be that boring. :) smile something will develop I'm sure. From satellite it looks like the Gom, atlantic near florida and the wave near africa & the windward Islands look like potentials. I'm sure by early next week we should see something develop.

I have been here off and on today. Watching the GOM - nothing organized or at the surface yet. Just a cluster of clouds right now. Maybe something will work down to the surface.

Maybe everyone is out and about with family today. Hopefully they will all stop by tonight and post.

At least you and me are here Windy!

It's very quiet out there. I'm sure this will all change in the coming weeks.

We will see something develop maybe by early next week & on. If Dr. Gray is still predicting an above average season then it seems like to me the tropics will start getting active and it will. The winds will settle down and the environment will be favorable for development. I'm keeping my faith up on this one. Take care ladies.... :)

It may be quiet in the tropics, but everyday here in SE Florida we are getting clobbered with serious thunderstorms. The lake in my background is growing and slowly moving closer to my house. The lightning shows are just wonderful!!!

Wow Amy - I love watching lightning shows. I'm not good enough with my camera to get any pictures - but nevertheless I love sitting on my screened in porch.

I think Ex TD2 is coming aback alive this afternoon - its tracking between the yuctan penicsula and cuba. Can't tell if there is any hint of a low level surface area? But if this is or it does - and it moves into the GOM - watch out - GOM'ers.
