Per JeffL - a dangerous squall line will be moving into SE Texas with 70 mph and large hail. Everyone please keep an eye to the sky and take cover if necessary.
This is a very serious situation.

It was wild here. It blew in like a stampede of horses. We lost power at 10:40 p.m. and didn't get it back until about 2:00 a.m.
Wind, rain and lightning - but it was over very quickly. I hope everyone is safe.
All clear here although I went through some hairy moments trying to outrun the line last night. Lost power here as well, sometime after 10:00 but was back online by 11:30.
Don't you just LOVE the temps though?
Glad to hear everyone is safe and sound.

Glad to hear you weren't without lights too long Bozo. Here I was afraid to go to sleep because I didn't want to over sleep in case the electricity didn't come back on and screwup my 2nd day at work LOL. So the next four days with the temps being cool - I'm going to catch up on my sleep.
Bozo - did you read that the weather pattern on Friday might shift back to rain and storms again? I heard that it might - didn't know if you read it as being in a forecast!
Latest from NWS says rain pattern back for a short time Friday night (mainly SE zones) but Mon-Wed could be another heavy rain event:
I HATE TO BE THE BEARER OF BAD NEWS...BUT WITH A
BOUNDARY IN PLACE AND PW VALUES GREATER THAN 1.5 INCHES WE COULD
WELL BE IN FOR A LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL THREAT MON AND TUE. A COLD
FRONT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE OFF THE COAST TUE EVENING WHICH WILL DRY
THE LOW-LEVELS SIGNIFICANTLY...HOWEVER...THE UPPER LEVEL PATTERN
SUPPORTS HIGH CLOUDINESS CONTINUING BEHIND THE FRONT. ANOTHER STORM
SYSTEM DEVELOPING OVER THE SW U.S. WILL BE POISED TO APPROACH AT THE
END OF THE WEEK. SO THE WX ROLLER COASTER WILL LIKELY CONTINUE TO
SPEED ALONG OVR SE TX.
Like ANY of us need any more rain.........I was hoping to mow Saturday before starting to get christmas up. Looks like I might be better off using a wet vac........ :damnmate:
