Got this email from him not too long ago. I have come to rely on him for virtually all our local weather, he is a true gem in this community. What a blessing he is for all of us here.
His email:
Dangerous Severe Weather Threat this afternoon.
Threat for large damaging tornadoes, very high winds, large hail, and
excessive rainfall.
Powerful upper level storm system moving toward TX this morning with a
warm front laying over the region. Jet energy driving E over N Mexico
with come crashing into a warm and unstable air mass over the region.
Violent thunderstorms will erupt this afternoon with the thrteat for
long lived supercells and tornadoes.
Given the 250-350 Helicity values and veering winds over the lowest
few thousand feet along with low LCL strong tornadoes F1-F3 will be
possible capable of considerable damage to well build structures.
Squall line arrives this evening with a severe wind threat over the
entire area. With the wet ground many trees may be knocked over.
SPC currently has the area under a moderate risk and may upgrade to a
high risk if we get breaks in the overcast this morning.
Flooding remains a hugh concern as anymore rain will cause more
flooding on already flooded rivers, creeks and bayous.
Flooding continues along Cypress Creek and over much of Addicks along
Bear Creek, S Mayde Creek, and Langham Creek. Stay away from Addicks
and Barker Resovoirs, many roads are sereverly flooded in the area.
Coprs of Engineers will be operating flood gates at Addicks and Barker
this morning to begin releasing water, however with additional
rainfall expected only minor releases are expected to protect downtown
Houston. After tonight flood gates will be opened on Wednesday and the
flooding should begin to receed.
Major flooding continues over much of the state, so travel is
extremely dangerous right now. Many rivers will not crest until this
weekend or early next week so expect house flooding and major highway
flooding to continue through the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Stay tuned to local media, NOAA weather radio and news sources for
updates. React to torando warnings and flood warnings.
If we can get through today we are in the clear for the rest of the
week, but today and this evening is going to be rough.
I am going to take pictures, no e-mail for a few hours.

Have no idea if I will be chasing this afternoon or not, am physically drained from the past 2 days but hate to pass up a good opportunity. May take a quick nap, pick daughter up at 12:30 and see what develops.
Oh, MANY THANKS TO TICKA, JIM AND JEFF for their nowcasting yesterday when I was driving around like a chicken with my head cut off. Ya'lls info was so invaluable to me during a potential dangerous situation. Never got any good shot of a funnel but did, for the first time, see the actual sky go green and it was all due to their guidance on which way to go and where the storms were. Don't even want to talk about the flooding I went through, at times thought I was literally floating, but that was due to my own stupidity. I cannot stress enough how important it is to have someone on the other end of the phone line or computer connection giving you up to date info on where it is safe and where it isn't. Never was that made more apparent to me than yesterday, hopefully I've learned some lessons from it. Cheers to all.
Hey chic, SEND SOME SNOW THIS WAY, COULD YA?
