Spectacular Lightning Show

Saw the most awesome lightning show tonight in Lake Jackson...beautiful streaks criss crossed across the sky when I got out of Wal-Mart...poured all the way back home to Bay City...it's was beautiful and scary at the same time...oh how I love thunderstorms at night...

When had some severe thunderstorms move through the east side here in Baytown around 12:30 a.m. - had a very loud thunder and lightening for about 30 mins. Dropped alot of rain. Been rain here most of the night - had another round of storms about 2 a.m. I think it was - but nothing severe.

Are these storms like we had last night going to last all weekend long? How severe will the storms be?
