Was it a tornado in Crosby Friday evening?

Heard there was a possiblity of a sighting of a tornado in Crosby with a round of severe storms that were in Crosby.

Anyone else heard anything else on this???

I heard the same report on Channel 2. The storms were strong, but not severe and there were no NWS issued warnings. The source seemed credible, but given the tropical nature of the atmosphere I strongly believe it was scud clouds feeding into the base of a towering cumulus cloud. They are mistaken for tornadoes all the time. The main difference is that scud clouds do not have rotation, whereas tornadic storms show rotation within the wall cloud.
