Another Fall Season is upon us - wonder what it will bring to us weatherwise. With summer being so unusual with the coldfront coming through Houston TX in August and then temps close to 100 in mid September. Numerous major hurricanes in the Atlantic and GOM.
I hope the fall colors on the trees are pretty this year - its my most favorite season.

Houston and fall colors? I'll miss the colors back in my old state of CO, GA, and OH. It's good to back home in Houston after 7 years, but I'll miss the true changing of the seasons.

LOL I have said our colors here in Houston are green, light brown, dark brown and dead.
I have been to Colorado in the Fall and I can understand what you miss - especially the Aspen Trees they are absolutely gorgeous.

I used to live in Alpharetta, GA...we would always drive up to the mountains this time of year to see all the colors...we especially enjoyed going to Helen for Oktoberfest...we would rent out a cabin with another couple, grill out, drink beer :cheers2: and watch the GA/FL :duel3: game...those were the days

What is this fall that you speaketh of? lol
The only color I see in trees out in our yard are the tallow trees which are turning red/orange...
I'm ready for some nice fall temps, but being down here in Texas we won't see that till it's almost time for winter, lol

Oh i love it up here. I am only 15 minutes from Helen. Personally though if i want to see good foilage i travel to Cherokee North Carolina. Between there and Piegon Forge is some of the most beautiful scenic views of foilage i have ever seen.
