Hurricane Alex - Surprise of 2004 Season?

I saw Alex coming! I did think that Alex was going to come through NC/VA border. But it porbably was a good idea that it didn't seeing it made cat. 2 status. Probably wasn't enough time for people to act more cautiously. But all in all noone got hurt and that is a good thing.

I couldnt believe this, i thought it was going to be a small one. i had so much going on today with the kids and i come back to this. i guess i will have to start watching things a little bit more. i hope everybody is ok in N.C.

I saw it's potential for development, I was screaming about the system in the Atlantic last week vs. the system in the Gulf which I knew would be a non-issue. That being said,

I had NO IDEA he'd get so obnoxious-that completely blew me away (no pun intended). And relatively quickly as well. Ah well, live and learn.
