A low pressure area located about 1225 miles east-northeast of the Leeward Islands is moving west-northwestward at 10-15 mph. Shower and thunderstorm activity is minimal at this time...but the environment may become a little more favorable for a tropical depression to develop over the next day or so.
I never seen the tropics heat up so much. Dr. Gray did say it was going to be an above average season. I give him credit for that.
