LOL - I live on the outskirts of Baytown Texas - which is what I call the boonies. You live in the big city.

I live in Boca Raton, Florida, near the border of Broward and Palm Beach Counties. I am about 8 miles from ocean, a surge area if it reaches category 5. I'm planning to stay 2 doors down with my neighbor who has a 2 story unit with 3 safe rooms on bottom and hurricane shutters. Our unit is basically a second floor unit with no protection. We're not really putting much away as we figure it's all going to go if it hits bad. We are trying to focus on survival worst case scenario right now. It's not even real windy right now.
