View Full Version : What's the secret to making a JPG or GIF an Avatar?

I've got old and new favorite jpg's - tried my WOW settings to add/change my 'Avatar'
My problem may be that I'm a diehard holdout user of W2K whenever I can - I've even still got my (really) old WIN NT 4.0
IF I had to settle on one specific I'd probably go with my Don Quixote 'Mingote' or my Sunset Blackbird or Aurora A5

Its not that complicated.
Select the 'user CP" option from the menu at the top of the page.
On the new page select "Edit Avatar" from the menu on the left.
On the new page, choose option number 2 by pressing the "browse" button
navigate to where your image file is found
Select your image
On the "Edit Avatar" page, press the "Save Changes" button.
That's it.
Note: Your image cannot exceed 80 pixels tall by 80 pixels wide and cannot be larger than 19.5KB in size.

On step 3 I don't see an Option number 2 or a "browse" button:
####
Edit AvatarYour Current AvatarNo Avatar Specified
Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it.
####
I can't deselect "do not use an avatar" and I have a "save changes" and "Reset Fields" buttons in the "Edit Avatars" panel
