finally found a wifi connection to read a bit and found this.http://www.houmatoday.com/article/20080908/ARTICLES/809059991/1223&title=How_we_avoided_the_great_flood
We survived the storm. Major roof damage and water from the roof damage in the house. My oaks look like someone took a chain saw and ripped every limb off. I'll take limbs off verses the trunk of the trees through my home.
Still no power and probably won't have any for another week.
Keeping the generators going is a big problem due to gas shortage and cost. Filled up 6 5 gallon cans yesterday and it cost over $100. Lord, I could be in a hotel for that amount.
I'm tired and ready to get back to normal, but as we know, getting back to normal takes a very long time.
