Olympics in China have begun

Will you be watching the Olympics this year - the summer games from China? I have a few sports that I like for the Summer games - mostly its Gymnastics and some track and field events.

I watch more of the Winter Olympic games.

I'm going to try and see if I can catch as many of the USA Men's Basketball games as I can...I'm interested to see the USA v. China game on Sunday!

How will not cheering on Team USA and not watching a US network broadcast of the Games help change China's policies?

I will be watching some of the events - mainly volleyball, track & field, some swimming, and some gymnastics and probably catch some other events as I'm channel surfing.

On a very sad note the father-in-law of one of the US volleyball coaches was attached killed, his wife and their Chinese tour guide were seriously injured. The coach's wife (a former Olympic volleyball player) was not injured in the attack. The attacker apparently took his own life. My thoughts go out to the family and team.
