I need to smoke!!

OK...here we go, i'm thinking about smoking me some chickens on my smokey...anyone have any ideas or recipes to make it come out good? I've been looking on the net, but nothing has really stuck out to me.

Hurricane - have you ever cooked Beer-Butt chicken. You take a can of beer and take a whole chicken and sit it on top of the can of beer and put it in the smokerand let it smoke until its done? First you take the chicken and cover it with butter and any type of seasoning you like....DH does his with Lowery Seasoning salt with a little Tony's Charcere(sic) - inside and out. The he puts the can of beer on a disposal pie pan and puts the chicken on top of it - looks like the chicken is sitting on the beer can. Puts it all into the smoker and lets it smoke until the chicken is done. Its moist and taste delicious.
