Ticka I want one for next Thursday - Saturday for the HLSR cook-off that looks like this. For once the trail riders serserve nice weather for coming into town. And I would like to be comfortable out at the cook-off. Oh and also Monday night (3/3) when I'm working out there.

I'm hoping for nice weather on 3/8 when I'll be out at the rodeo to see Martina McBride! My neice has a piece of her artwork on display so we're taking her that day to get her award for it. Going to be fun!

I'll second that request since I'll be out there working that day. Good luck to your niece. And enjoy Martina, she always puts on such a great show.

I saw her one other time at the Rodeo and loved her, so I'm looking forward to seeing her again. I'm just glad to be able to go this year. She got the tickets for free. I haven't been since Alabama had their farewell show at the Rodeo in 2001 I think...*bouncy*

So yes, let us have nice weather!!!

Ok, in case anyone had any doubts it was down right COLD Monday night. I worked my first volunteer shift at the rodeo and with the wind almost blowing me off my feet (literally) I was a human popsicle by the time I headed home around 12:30. At least I'll have sunshine for my next shift on Saturday.

Looks like its going to be COLD again Friday and Saturday. TSD better bundle up and drink lots of hot chocolate. Enjoy the rodeo. As I get older - I don't deal with crowds and haven't been to the rodeo in several years.

The transmission on our car went out so I can't go Saturday...bummer! But have a good day TSD!

Bummer about not being able to go on Saturday LTT. The weather is looking to be sunny and cool. So it should be nice to be out there. And hopefully not as many grumpy people as Monday.

Ticka, I understand what you mean about the crowds. But I enjoy my volunteer work out there so it's ok - most of the time. And I love the rodeo. Lets just hope if it is cold that there's some place close to get hot chocolate.
