Howdy Neighbor and WELCOME! :party: I live in Slidell... yep, had to rebuild our house and about the time we got it done, we decided to transfer out of here! We'll be moving to the far northwest side of Houston in about 2 weeks!

This site is my absolute favorite weather site! You'll love it here and the support system here is wonderful!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!!

I'm praying this area never gets hit by another hurricane again! I honestly don't think it could survive it... our old N.O. will never be the same again as it is! I am definitely gonna miss this place, it's character, the food and the good people here can't be matched! But my nerves can't take it anymore so it's time to go... I'm hoping that I'll feel at home in NW Houston once we get settled in and acclimated... may take a couple years and at least we can come back here to visit or enjoy Mardi Gras!
