What I am reading and seeing about the devastation in LA/MS/AL. There are so many reports of deaths, folks needing to be rescued, missing loved ones, looting and the list goes on.

I hope each member here says a prayer for all those that were affected by Katrina - this is going to be a very tragic time - the path of devastation she left is beyond words.

I'm just speechless as I sit here and read the e-mails Jeff has sent out with the pictures...I started crying...its just so devestating what has happened...so hard to grasp that towns are literally gone now...

My prayers and thoughts are with these people and I hope they'll be able to come back strong after something as horrific as this...


and I also pray that NO MORE storms come their way this season...

I found out this morn, that my niece was working at baptist hospital in the nicu unit. they came in to get the babies and told them they would be later to get them. they never returned till last night. my niece was with twelve other staff and a few of their children stuck in the hospital with no guards, nothing. the looters came in and were trying to kill them, chased them all over. they finally found an area within and area in the administration area that they could lock themselves in there and not fear being killed. they rescued them last night and she and her daughter are in baton rouge hospital and not doing good. if you have a chance please pray that they will be ok.
