it's 12:40am and the lectriccomes and goes.. but we still have light.
the rain is non stop now and the gust are getting stronger and longer. I guesstimating that we're having winds as high as 60mph but probaby more.
in my area so far no trees down but i'm sure it will happen.
my home is 29.3/90.4 which is very close to the coordinates as of now..very scary. I'm sure the few strands of dark hair i have will be grey.
i'm within blocks of the fire station and haven't heard a siren yet, so i'm thankful for that.
the police aare making rounds as long as they can. that gives maany a sense of security.
my heart is calm to weather this storm, but i'm praying hard for those in the NOLA area.
will check in later if i can. i do have battery backup so will save it for more trying times of this storm.
aa funny for these bad times..my neighbor who is a total idiot at about 7 this evening between bans decides to take a swim...he's out there in his blow up pool on his float..his wife comes out yelling for him to get in the house..finally after a some consideration on his part and his wife threatning to take the beer away, he went in. an hour or so later, he out side yelling at wife..CYNTHIA..WHAT DA HELL YOU DID WIT MAH GOGGLES..lawd, what da hell he needs goggles for..bet he was getting his beer goggles on..BAAAWAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!
