I tried inserting a radar image into a post this morning in the local weather forum and this is what I did and I got a big red X where the image was suppose to be.
I clicked on the picture icon above that lets you copy the link of the image you want to post - I do that and hit enter and then in my post all I get is a square box with a red X.
Is there something I am doing wrong? This has been happening now for over a week - where I can't post images.
Thanks,
Ticka1

Hey, now you sound like me. Where is the image coming from? Are you getting a pop up that requests the URL? Are you copying the link into the pop up? You'll notice in the pop up it already starts with http://, so if you're copying the link you may have 2 http://'s in your script line (if that's what they call it). Also, you could try copying the image into your paintshop or photoshop and saving it. This will give you a static image, so it won't refresh but does give a better view of what the radar is at that moment. Then you just attach it view "Manage Attachments". You might have to trim it to fit, depending on the file type (jpeg, gif, etc.) Try that and if neither of these work, holler at me on the phone since Charles and I have gone through hell and back so he could teach me how to stop getting the dreaded red x!!!

Instead of using the "Image" button when posting a message, use the "Manage Attachments" button. This is what the problem was for StingRay. The "Image" button assumes you already have the image hosted somewhere.
