I have never delt with this issue in my family before now. No, it's not me but my mom...she has married Satan! I don't know what I expect everyone to say, but it does make me feel better to vent to friends. I just got off of the phone with her and she has finally decided to file for divorce and wants me to go with her for moral support, which I plan to do. The problem lies that he's crazy, has threatened all the family and even the grandchildren. He has her so afraid that he will kill us. I don't know what to tell her to make her feel better. I'm running out of helpful things to say. I keep telling her to come stay with me, but she's afraid that he will follow. I keep telling her that I live in Missouri and everyone has guns here....I for one am not afraid of him. But the problem is that she is. I don't know what to do or to say anymore...

i am so sorry chic and u know that if u need anything i am here for u u can pm me just to vent. tell ur mom she has our prayers here at wildonweather. there is not much u can say except to listen to her and protect her from that creep. hey she needs a place to hide out she can come here. :(

Chic - just keep telling her that she has a place with you. Eventually it will sink in - I hope she follows through and does leave him and get a divorce - no one should be in an abusive relationship.
