Hello everyone,

I was turned on to this website after my mother-in-law (she's a sweet lady, really, she is :angel3: ) told me about how you guys were accurately calling the paths of all the hurricanes last year.

I've been a weather buff since I was about 10. We were driving home one night and I was looking at the window at the most beautifut electric storm I had ever seen. It had such an impact on me that I relished every T-storm that came over for the next decade. I was around twenty before I saw one to rival that first one. God's light show. Can't beat it.

I've been fascinated by weather, particulary storms, since then.

Look forward to interacting with all of ya.

Richard

Hi Richard -

Glad you you have joined WOW. As everyone else has said thanks for the compliment. We are are blesssed we have Met. in training, a true meteorologist, and also have a Hurricane specialist who works at the NHC in Miami. We have a varied group of people here - but they all have the interest - weather. We will try to give the latest information but do want to interject - always use your local officials and the the NHC for all the information especially if a storm is headed your way. Have fun and enjoy WOW.
