This morning's Tropical outlook stated that the Western Caribbean system is moving into more favorable conditions for possible development. What does "more favorable conditions mean" (less shear?).

Thanks,
Patricia

I am not one of the "experts" but it does not have to always be the shear. Could be Warm SST's along with little shear, no high mountainness terrain, etc. - but I will let the experts give you a better explanation.

My take on the situation would mean less shear and the low level center getting away from land areas.

I misread your post Ticka. I thought you meant from all storms. Jeff is correct.
