More Storms...

Well it's 4:05am and I'm up watching a nice line of storms heading in this general direction...I'm surprised at how well they've stayed together considering the distance they've traveled over night and they haven't flucuated in intensity very much...looks like it's going to get noisy around here in a few hours...

Can't believe that line held together all the way from up in the panhandle of Texas. Looks like some severe storms are coming into the west part of Houston right now. My level3 shows them moving in an eastward direction. Stay Safe everyone.

I'm restless and can't go to sleep...I've yet to even go to bed yet tonight, lol, I've been up watching this thing

Looks like I'm fixing to get a really nasty part of this system in a bit...

Really wish I had the Level3 right now...

Here is a shot of the storm I just took...the cloud formations ahead of the system are beautiful, but my camera is being a pain and not getting real good shots...

The lightning tho right at the horizon line is beautiful...big, bright flashes...

I think we could lose the electricity in this storm so I'm going to sign off and go crawl in bed and ride it out...report the outcome later!

7am here at the Brazoria/Galveston county line, and the sky just opened up. No thunder or lightning yet, but it is *pouring.* Thank goodness I had scheduled one last vacation day for today -- I would hate to be leaving now to drive all the way to downtown Houston in this mess!

Storm wasn't all that bad once it got started, most rained alot and hard, but the thunder and lightning were subdued. Nothing compared to the other night, this was like a drizzle storm compared to that one, lol

Gina, the Level3 is an excellent radar program that you can have on your computer...I had it for the free trial and loved it...wish I had the money to buy the program
