Hi All,

I just found this site from another weather site. This is a very nice and easy to use site.

I live in Daytona Beach, Florida; are there other Floridians here?

I have a fascination with all types of severe weather. I have lived here since 1974 and 2004 Hurricane season was something I've never seen before (and hopefully will not again :rolleyes3 I'm a weather hobbiest. I love to track the storms, however, lately I've really been learning more and more about how they form and what steers them.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all. Looks like we may have a wild ride this coming hurricane season.

Welcome to WOW. As Sparky alluded to - yes we do have several members from Florida....including myself - I live in Miami. Will enjoy reading your posts here - so please post often. Welcome. I'm in Florida too (Palm Beach County) and have found this website to be terrific. During the season last year I found this site and never left. I followed every storm here, had all my questions answered, learned alot, received good advice, made friends and found everyone to be truly wonderful. They're all passionate about the weather, being informed, your safety, and it was a comfort to have the support group whenever I turned on the computer. I'm hoping this season is not as active but I know I will be here tracking every storm. Amy
