Subtropical Jetstream Question

James - I know that the Subtropical jetstream is usually between 20 to 30 latitude but how does it come in play with the tropical systems in the atlantic? More specially the tropical storm systems.

I'm not really sure what the question is. Any upper-level jet can be either favorable or unfavorable, depending on its position relative to the tropical cyclone. It can enhance outflow (favorable for development), or enhance shear (bad for development).
