once this storm crosses over into the Atlantic? Or will it be Arlene if it becomes a Tropical Storm?

If it traverses Central America and maintains its status as a tropical cyclone throughout, in other words, if advisories are continuous during the crossing, then it retains its name in the Atlantic basin.

If, however, Adrian dissipates (loses its surface circulation) and then its remnants redevelop, it will get a new name.

WOW, how in the world was Ivan able to keep its name then??? I do believe advisories were completely discontinued on that system and we were tracking the mid level circulation.

Because the rules are different for storms changing basins. Within a basin, if the remnants redevelop the same name is re-assigned.
