Mark is a pioneer in his field, no doubt about it and he ALWAYS takes as many precautions as he can given what he does. That being said, I hope this video will not give people the same false hope that the reporter who got caught in a twister and sought shelter under an overpass did. Enumerable deaths were attributed to people seeing that video and thinking that being under an overpass afforded you the most protection you could find being out in the open. WRONG. True, this was a hurricane, max wind gust reported was what, 127? And a tornado can well exceed that. But I hope he puts a disclaimer when he does a formal release that NO ONE should seek shelter under an overpass EVER and that he is professional who is well aware of the inherent risks involved. I also read that this hurricane chase will be his last, he was absolutely shaken to the core being caught in a highly volatile situation that even HE was not prepared for. One can hardly blame him given everything he has been through. All in all, hats off to him for all the invaluable information he has given us over the years.
