ok i am gonna openly admit here due to all my allergy problems and hand problems i do not have a green thumb what so ever. But i want to plant a flower garden for katie this year so she can learn how flowers grow and she can help me take care of them. my question is where and how can i find the appropriate flowers to grow in the climate we live in? any help would be appreciated.

ps also planting a pumpkin seeds and wild flowers when is a good time to plant them. thanks in advance

Sandy - go to your local Home Depot or Lowe's or nursery - they can tell you the best flowers that grow in your area. As for pumpkins - they can be planted anytime for the next couple of months. One thing is you want to make sure that you won't get anymore cold weather aka freezes.
