There is a nasty thunderstorm rolling through here right now...the wind is STRONG...I went outside to take the dogs out before it got real bad and they couldn't stand up in the wind...stuff was hitting me in the face and it stung! It is pouring right now in sheets and the lightning is very impressive. Looks to be moving pretty quickly to the east, so heads up to all of you east of me it's headed your way!

Can you believe I slept through it all Lindy. I finally got to bed around 1:30 a.m. and I was so tired. Didn't hear anything so I bet the storms played themselves out. I am showing 50 degrees right now - so that means the cold front is through. Jacket weather.

I was up stuffing eggs and dyeing eggs if you can believe it, lol, so I was up from beginning to end. They were moving at a pretty good clip, 65mph, so it didn't last too long, but when it came through you knew it was here. There wasn't much thunder involved in it. It was mainly a wind maker. It was so intense when it blew, throwing things at me when I took the dogs out. And as I stated they could barely stand, lol. I'm glad the lights didn't go out.

Haha nice to see the dynamics played out well. I talked for some length with Ticka last night about this. I wasn't real sure it would play out though, there was some lack of instability in the area, but the upper-levels were very impressive.
