Finally its dry enough to make rows and put down my seeds and plants. I have decided to downsize some on my garden. I am planting tomatoes, green beans, okra and cucumbers.

Just hope it makes - I usually plant by the moon signs - (my mom's secret) - but this year the wet weather has prevented us from preparing the garden.

Anyone else plant a garden or grow any veggies?

Couldn't help but post and brag about my garden. I've been picking ripe tomatoes every day and the green peppers are almost ready. I'm growing for the first time ever - dark purple peppers. Don't know what they'll taste like, but in a few weeks I'll let you know. My herb garden has been doubling in size every day with heavy rain - parsley, oregano, dill, basil, thyme, mint, cilantro, chives. The rosemary patch and aloe veras are the only thing that survived the hurricanes. Incredibly. I had to replant everything else. I love my garden. I hate the weeds.

yes windy I hate the weeds and that is what I will be doing today, weeding. I have never tried to grow any herbs , is it that hard to grow, and do you dry them out so as to have all year long? I would love to grow rosemary and cilantro , my 2 favs.
