of the Houston area - looks to be moving SE below I-10 this time! Looks impressive on radar right now - I sure wish I had my gR-radar tonight. Oh well - at least its something to watch in the weather.

Jeff and Lindy and anyone else from the area - keep me posted on your conditions.....

We are fixing to get slammed here...the lightning is spectacular and the thunder is getting louder...the wind is also starting to pick up...we've got candles lit around the house waiting on it...

I think it's here...the wind has just picked up dramatically...I can hear stuff hitting my window as the wind slams it into it...

Just stuck my head outside the door and it is starting to rain hard...large drops...the wind is blowing it into the side of the house...the lightning is continuous...

Lindy - please keep us posted on what you get - I'm south of I-10 - so if it makes it past Interstate 45 - I'll get some action from this line. It is looking very healthy right now....that bow echo is looking dangerous. STAY SAFE.

I'll keep everyone updated as long as the lights stay on...

The wind has to be gusting up to 40mph right now...the flag pole across the street is being bent over...trees are being beat on by the wind...

It is raining pretty heavily now...no hail as of yet...looks like Wharton is getting it pretty bad tho...

Looks like this line is moving quickly Lindy - that's a good thing! Hope you don't have much damage - sounds like the wind is very strong.

The worst has moved on...now there is only the occasional lightning flash and thunder...I'm hoping we didn't get any tree damage outside, but I guess I wont know until the morning...looks like my sister and her family in Alvin might be getting it next and then maybe you...busy, active night here in SE Texas!

Edit (11:44pm): Looks like it's starting to weaken on radar as it moves east...my sis may not get it has bad as I did...

Yeah you are right about the busy night. I got two radar screens going and etc....its WAY past my bedtime - but I'll probably head to bed in 30 mins and get awaken by the storms later .... around 2 a.m.

Hope everyone in the path of this storm is okay......Alvin and Pearland is where my sister is with her family.

Well the thunder is starting here at the house...just scared me....LOL....storms are still off to my west - but heading in this general direction. I'm headed to bed - so I'll probably be awake when them move through?

Jeff what does the forecast look like for tomorrow and Monday on severe weather potential?
