Just to think the peak of the season is days away and the waves on the continent of Africa is impressive.

An area of clouds and thunderstorms is centered about 300 miles south-southeast of the Cape Verde Islands and is associated with a westward-moving tropical wave. Some slow development is possible during the next few days.

This might be something in the upcoming week! I guess we just need to monitor it for signs of development.
