How do hurricanes effect marine life? If any? Have there been research or studies?

I would think it would have to, to a certain extent, unless they all go deep for the time being. Anyone know?????

i believe that is sarasota they moved alot of sea turtles that were nesting. i tried to find the article, but of course its gone. they did move some kind of sea animal. i am sure with all the animals activist(sp) they have done alot of research. good question chic.
