Looks to be a busy day here in SE Texas. Numerous storms out to our west - heading in the general direction of the Houston area. Some of them look severe - and lots of rain with these storms.
Everyone stay safe and post your weather conditions here as they happen.

MCS approaching SE TX this morning near Matagorda Bay with Severe
Thunderstorm Watch in effect.
Slow moving training thunderstorms developing over W Harris and Waller
counties ahead of rotating comma head W of Wharton.
Excessive rainfall, hail, and gusty winds can be expected for the rest
of the morning leading to urban flash flooding. There is some concern
that some of this activity may form a solid line through NC Harris
County over the next hour, on top of areas hit hard last evening.

The winds were so strong last night when they came through that it snapped our flagpole in half...anyone know how high the gusts got down here in Matagorda County?

Probably 50-55mph. You were within the southern part of the strong bow echo that moved along the Wharton/Matagorda line.

That's what I was thinking...was a bumpy morning for all of us here in SE TX...lots and lots of lightning...
