ok i hope to make sence, we have had 1hurricane hit N.C. and now one hit Fla. we now have 2 possible hurricanes in the open waters. one looks to go to the gom and the other the Atlantic. have we ever had any hurricanes that have hit the same state in one season, if yes where and how many?? thanks in advance.

hey thanks for the link. sorry for not responding sooner. i have researched some of the years, but not all of them. i just dont want this to be a fla hurricane year. i couldnt take it.

Well the closest we came to a direct hit on a hurricane in NYC was the great hurricane of 1938. It came into the NYC/Long Island border and went up into New England. Coastal Rhode Island got hit hard on this one.
